Brick-Lok Type S

Brick-Lok Type S Masonry Cement is a prepackaged masonry cement meeting or exceeding the requirements of ASTM C 91. Argos carefully selects and blends the raw materials and follows stringent quality control procedures in the manufacturing of BRICK‐LOK Masonry Cement. This attention to detail results in a superior performing masonry cement for use in mortar during construction and for long-lasting, water‐resistant walls.

Argos BRICK‐LOK® Masonry Cement is available in natural grey.

Limitations:

Argos BRICK‐LOK® Masonry Cement is designed to be mixed with mason sand and clean, potable water to produce masonry mortar. The further addition of portland cement or hydrated lime to a BRICK‐LOK® Masonry Cement mortar at the job site is not required or recommended

Precautions:

Direct contact with wet cement should be avoided. If contact occurs, the skin should be washed with water as soon as possible. Exposure can cause serious, potentially irreversible tissue destruction in the form of chemical (caustic) burns. If cement gets into the eyes, immediately rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention. For more information, reference the applicable Argos Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The MSDS should be consulted prior to the use of this product and is available upon request.

Basic Use:

Argos BRICK‐LOK ® Masonry Cement is specially formulated and manufactured to produce masonry mortar for use in brick, block, and stone masonry construction. Masonry cement may also be used to produce stucco.  Composition and Materials: Argos BRICK‐LOK ® Masonry Cement is composed of portland cement, plasticizers, and air-entraining additives. These components are proportioned at the cement plant under controlled conditions to assure uniformity of performance.
